Our IF event was a big success. We had a good number of people show up that truly could appreciate the quality, craftsmanship, thought, and design that has made IF what it is today. Since a picture speaks a thousand words, I won't write too much. I will say that it was a pleasure to have Matt Bracken here in San Antonio. It is nice to have heard his take on the way that cycling, and more specifically bicycle design, has changed over the last 20 years or so. I hope you enjoy the pictures

So, what do you ride?

We get asked this question all the time. What bike do you ride?

I thought it would be nice to just list photos of employee bikes for everyone to see. This is the first installment. We have a plethora of bikes and I don't want to list them all at once. So, in this section you will see some custom bikes and some not so custom bikes. The main theme of all these bikes is useful durability. Any of the bikes in this section are at home on the race course of on long winter training rides.

I have also included pics of some other stuff that has been happening here in the store lately. Like the Pedro's van pulling up in the parking lot unannounced. It was slightly surprising to see a flower power van out front, but when I found out how Eco friendly Pedro's is it all made sense.

WORD! We just got in our new selection of Oakley sunglasses.

Last Friday Paul Chandler from GITA sporting goods stopped in to see what was up. He had Dario Pegoretti in tow. Dario is a legendary frame builder from Italy. While he was in the store he did a fitting for Matt and said he was going to make something "very nice" for him. We are looking forward to seeing what he comes up with.

It isn't every day that you have 3 bikes from one customer in the stand. We love the fact that all these bikes are no compromises racing bikes. One thing worth mentioning is that Not included in the picture is Her TT bike. Also set up very nicely.

MARCH MADNESS (well sort of)

I went up to North West Arkansas over the weekend, so I wasn't able to do a blog untill now. We have been doing well here at Bicycle-Heaven. We have seen several high end sales on Bicycles from our Demo Days. The ladies clinic was a success as well. We are looking forward to the time change this weekend. Bicycle-Heaven can now upgrade almost any part of your bike to Ceramic Bearings. These super low resistance units allow for faster acceleration and less energy exertion at top end speed.

The new Cannondale Taurine Carbon 1. This bike is a size large and weighs in at 22.5 lbs. WoW! This bike is not going to last long. If you want to look at it I recomend coming to the store ASAP.
