Hello Summer

So, today marks the last day of spring. The temps are really rising now, and with the days being so long there is no mistaking that the south Texas summer is upon us. Here at the heaven we are still rolling along. Lots of folks have been getting new bikes and starting to become more active in the sport.

Speaking of sport, the Tour de France starts on July 7. It should be interesting to see the fall out from all the drug allegations and controversies. I believe the race will be a better one because of it all. I think the riders are tired of all the hoopla and are ready to put on a good show to remind people why cycling is a great sport.

Here is a good example of why you should change your bar tape sooner rather than later. Sweat can be so corrosive that it actually eats through your handle bar.
