End of the Year Update

So I have been gone for about a week and am looking forward to getting into the swing of things again. Some of this happened while I was gone and some after I got back. All in all our christmas season went swimmingly. We sold almost all of the kids bikes that we braought in, and judging from the quality of some of the gifts purchased here in the store I'd say there were some pretty happy cyclists come chrismas mornning. A couple of other things that I didn't get pictures of were Bill T. came by with his new BT track bike. I really enjoyed seeing that. We also sold one of the new Cannondale 29er bikes. Oh yeah we have started getting in the 2007 Cervelo product as well. I will be posting some of that soon as well.

Before Terry left for New Jersey she stoped by to deliver some good cheer and presents. Thanks for the gifts Terry. More importanty, where can I get one of those Hats? This is a circa 1940 european bike. It came in in poor shape but left feeling fine.
The Raleigh Rush Hour. Every thing you need. Nothing you don't. I want to get one of these for the Track. This bike is going to Houston to commute with the cars on the mean streets.
This is a partially assembled 2007 P2C. These bikes are a great value. Full carbon frame with D/A for $3000.00. We also have the rest of the line from Cervelo in stock now. Come to the store to check out this bike and more.

I knew we had a good Christams when I came back to the store and saw this. So many empty slots means that there are some folks happily riding the roads of saint town.

The Raleigh 29er. Steel frame, ridgid fork, one gear, what more could you want.

Boxing Day

The fourth annual running of the Arby's Classic was held yesterday. Much to the disdain of at least one competitor, Robert Guckian retained his title of champion and the coveted Arby's Cup. This ties the series at 2-2. No doubt, the 2007 Arby's Classic will be a real nail biter. Comments by the defeated, Jason Boland, were too profain for publication on this site.

Hello All
Things are still busy into the last week before Christmas. We have been keeping things under control, though. This will be the last post that I make before the new year. I will be sending out an email telling about a ride that we are doing on New Years Day.
One thing that strikes me as strange about the Holidays and bikes is that there are some parents out there that spend more time disecting the fit of their kids bikes than I spent on my last road bike fit. I must have talked to soemone for 40 minutes last week about the intricacies of 16 inch kids bikes vs 20 inch. One thing is for sure. We definitely got the young lad the right bike. Anyway, here are a few pictures of what we have been up to this week.

This is an IF Ti Crown Jewel that we just rolled out. Notice the Kaboom Panels. Nice!

Jason Anderson is always bringing in a new project. This is his most rrecent one. Check out how low the seat is for the stoker. It telescopes so his son can ride it with him.

Colby and Rick working keeping things rolling. If Rick knew that I was putting his picture on the blog he would probably not like it. Rick is antiblog.

Not only do we have the coolest bikes in town, but we may also have some of the biggest hair. This is a picture taken at the begining of the day. By the end of the day it usually fros out even more.

Happiness is a well stocked Fridge. Come on down and hang out for a while while enjoying some liquid refreshment.

See what you are missing

These are some pictures that I wanted to put up last time but didn't have the time. The shop has been busy with kids bikes galore. Also, we have moved some really high end stuff as well (see the Pinnarello Paris Carbon below!) Of course we still have time for some fun.

Keith stopped by on Saturday to show us a thing or two about riding unicycles.
Matt is getting pretty good, but the rest of us have decided to stick with two wheels.

Some of our bikes were intimidated by this Kona.
It isn't that often that you see a bike like this floating around in S.A.

Paris Carbon Frame, 2007 Record all around, Mavic Ksyirium ES, Zipp Bar, Fizik Saddle & Bar tape. Pictures dont do this bike justice.

When Griffen asked us if we could true up his wheel a little, we told him "Do it yourself"---Not really. I just thought the t-shirt was funny.

Saturday at the shop.

Saturday was a busy day at the store. We are selling a ton of kids bikes theses days and it is hard to keep enough of them built and ready. We are expecting this week to be a really great one. There are a number of cool bikes that we are scheduled to roll out the diir this week. Ill send pictures of those soon for now here are a couple of things that happened on Saturday.

This was my breakfast. Yummy!

Nothing like some CC cookies that one of our favorite customers brought by to go with the San Pellegrino.

John and Goofy go for a Ride. (Are you sure about this, Goofy?)

There are some other PIctures that I can't find right now, but I'll try to get them up here soon.
